Center Finder

This tool makes it easy to find the center of a circle like a wood dowel, disk, or cylinder.

This is the top, with a marked cylinder behind. To use the cdenter finder, place it over the end of a cylinder, with the V-shaped "fence" on the bottom against the cylinder.

Place a pencil in the slot with the point against the edge with the three arrows pointing to it.Draw a line across the cylinder end rotate the cylinder about 30° and draw another line. Repeat once again, leaving the cylinder with three lines intersecting in its center.

This is the bottom view, showing the V-shaped fence that positions the cylinder while drawing the lines.

The six holes are not "finger holes." Their purpose is to reduce the amount of plastic used to print this piece.

I printed the center finder in gold for no particular reason other than I had gold filament left over from daughter Michelle's costume chain mail.
