Jack Winch Funnel

Our Tacoma pickup truck carries the spare tire under the bed, suspended by a cable attached to a winch. To lower and raise the tire, jack handle sections are connected together to make a long crank. This is fed through a small hole in the bumper until the end engages the winch shaft.

But it's dark under there, and the bumper hole doesn't allow a good view of the target – the winch shaft with a slot in its end.

So I designed this "funnel" to guide the crank to its target. I printed it in yellow plastic toimprove visibility. I glued it to the winch with Amazing Goop. The funnel works great.
