We have two wall showers that also have a handhheld shower. Turning a valve on the pipe diverts water from the main shower to the handheld shower.
The valve knobs on these showers are fairly high, and are not easy to turn, so I made an extension lever for them.
The lever is only 1/10-inch thick, which is plenty strong enough. The levers are much asier to reach and operate, and neither has broken during two years of daily use.
