Our rural subdivision has 38 mailboxes installed on a long board at the entrance. Sometimes one or more knobs disappear, probably due to residents pulling up too close to check for mail.
I designed a replacement knob that closely matches the originals. The design software let me include 8-32 machine threads inside the mounting hole, eliminatoing the extra work of cutting threads with a metal tap after printing.
The little nubs also were easy. I started with one, then used the software's "copy around an axis" feature to duplicate it mulrtiple times to fill the knob's perimeter.
