Several years ago I installed two oak thresholds to cover joints between hardwood flooring in a basement hallway and tile in the adjoining rooms. I couldn't drive wood screws into the concrete floor, so I glued the thresholds in place with Amazing Goop.
Louise recently noticed the empty holes, and asked me to put screw heads in them. I didn't want to sacrifice half a dozen perfectly good screws just for their heads, so I quickly designed a dummy screw with a suitable head and a smooth shank. I printed them in gold to resemble brass. They look great in the thresholds.
