A chop saw in the workshop has a clamp to hold wood being cut. A round post fits into a hole in the saw base, but the saw has no place to store the clamp when it's not needed.
This two-piece holder clamps to a leg on the chop saw stand. ¼" machine bolts and nuts tighten to hold it securely. The clamp's post fits into a hole in the holder.
